This holiday season, see Zoo Lights from new heights at the giant Ferris wheel, presented by fred's Super Dollar! All the way from the Farm to Northwest Passage, SunTrust Zoo Lights is an event the entire family will enjoy.

Grand Opening November 16 at 5:30 p.m.


Daytime skating begins November 17 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


$5 for one hour of skating,

$20 for members-only punch card, good for five skaters
General Zoo admission applies 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
SunTrust Zoo Lights admission applies after 5:30 p.m.

    The show will be closed on Monday, November 26 so that we can thank our generous sponsors. Starry Nights will reopen on Tuesday, November 27.

    Mistletoe Village


    Mistletoe Village is a place where you can experience the magic of the holidays. Grab a cup of hot chocolate while you visit Santa, do some holiday shopping with local artisans, visit the Starry Petting Zoo and even ride a camel. Afterward, gather around a cozy campfire and roast s'mores while you listen to carols in the village.

    Tuesday-Sunday: $20 per car | $50 per large van/small bus | $150 per charter bus

    Mondays (Run, Walk, Ride Nights): $5 per person or $20 per family (maximum)

    Ticket Information
    Tickets on sale now. All performances are $25 in advance and $30 day-of-show. All preview performances are $15 regardless of when purchased. Free Will Kids’ Nights: Children 17 years and younger admitted FREE when accompanied by a paying/attending guardian. All Dixon members receive 20% off their tickets.

  • Enchanted Forest
  • Location: Pink Palace Museum
    Dates: November 17 – December 31, 2012
    Admission: $6 Adults, $5 Seniors and children ages 3-12.

    Start a beautiful, holiday tradition with your family at the Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees. TWIGS of Le Bonheur present this unique holiday tradition every year at the Pink Palace. This winter-wonderland has animated animals, houses of gingerbread and peppermint, dozens of beautifully decorated Christmas Trees, and Santa, waiting at the end to pose for holiday pictures.

    The city of Southaven presents "Christmas in Toyland" Christmas parade with bands, floats, and good Ol' St. Nick on the first Saturday in December. The theme this year is "Free.     The parade route will travel North on Hwy 51 from First Commercial Drive to Main Street, then East on Main Street to Northwest Drive and end at City Hall

    The theme for the 2012 Hernando Christmas Parade is “I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas," featuring more than 100 entries with floats, cars, marching bands, horses, fire trucks and of course, Santa.
    The parade will begin at the corner of Mt. Pleasant Extended and Commerce Street, traveling down Commerce Street, around the Square and ending at Hernando Baptist Church on East Center Street. The parade begins at 6:30pm, with line-up beginning at 5:30pm.

    Address: Begins beside Horn Lake Fire Station 1 on Tulane Road & ends at Latimer Lakes Park
    The Horn Lake Annual Christmas Parade draws spectators from miles around. This year's parade theme is “Inside Santa’s Workshop,” which promises to make your holiday merry and bright! The parade will begin beside Horn Lake Fire Station 1 on Tulane Road. The parade will end at Latimer Lakes Park where the annual tree lighting will begin approximately 30 minutes following the end of the parade precession



  • Germantown Christmas Parade
  • Date & Times: Dec 8th, 2pm
    The traditional holiday parade features decorated floats, horses, youth groups, car clubs, local marching bands and an appearance by Santa Claus. Beginning at the corner of Kimbrough Road and Farmington Boulevard, the parade proceeds west on Farmington Boulevard to Exeter Road, turns north on Exeter Road and ends at Germantown Athletic Club.     This year’s theme is " I’m Dreaming of a “GREEN” Christmas” Let’s see who can come up with the most creative recycling ideas this year. The parade will proceed west on Stage Road between Elmore Park and Shelby Street. Space is limited.

    The Mid-South Ice House Theater on Ice class is proud to present the classic tale of Dr. Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
    Come join us December 22, 2012 at 7:00 pm to 7:45pm. Enjoy our show, sip on some hot cocoa from our snack shop and stay to skate on our evening public session starting at 8:00 pm - A perfect, holiday night out with your family and friends




    Tickets are only $5 and will be for sale soon at the MSIH Ticket Office. Half of ticket proceeds benefit the Figure Skating Club of Memphis, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of figure skating in the Greater Mid-South Area.
