Cedar Hill Farm, Hernando

  • Gates open at 6:00PM – Fireworks start at 9:15PM










  • Farm Activities open from 6:00PM – 8:00PM (lighted Playground will stay open until the end of the show)



  • Live music under the Pavilion from 6:30PM – 9:00PM (6:30 – 7:30 Angela Thomas Acoustic & 8:00 – 9:00 Woodstomp

  • Parking: $6.00 per car & $12 per bus or passenger van (part of the proceeds to benefit the Palmer Home for Children)

    Admission: Free
    Admission Includes: Entry into the Farm, a Hayride around the farm and out to the Pirate Ship, the Petting Zoo, the Chicken Show, Cedar Hill Rail Road, (New for 2012: Giant Slides), and use of our Play and Picnic Areas. The Chicken Show and Hayrides run continuously, the last Hayride leaves the barnyard at 7:30.
    Extras, Not Included with Admission: Pony Rides ($2), Feed for the Animals (.25), All Food and Merchandise.

    Bring a great attitude, your family, and your friends - and be prepared to hear great music and meet wonderful people.
    Enhance your lawn-seating experience with a blanket or folding chairs.
    You can bring coolers (non-alcoholic beverages), snacks, or even a picnic. (Food and drink are also available at concession stands.)
    You might want a hat, sunscreen, bugspray, or other protections from nature. If it rains, you might want an umbrella.

    It’s time to celebrate our country’s birthday with one of our most popular events of the entire year. The River City Band returns, under the direction of Dr. Sidney McKay! This outstanding 60-piece band will play some of your favorite patriotic music, including the traditional salute to all the branches of our Armed Forces, and the perennial favorite, John Philip Sousa’s The Stars and Stripes Forever.
    Tickets are available at the church in advance, or at the door. Invite friends and church prospects. Get your Independence Day celebration off to an early start with this red, white, and blue musical event!

    High Point Neighborhood Parade, starting at the northeast corner of Aurora Circle, July 4, 9 a.m., freeDress yourself (or your kids or your pet) up for the 63rd annual High Point neighborhood Fourth of July parade. How you participate in one of the city's oldest neighborhood parades is up to you, but floats, bikes, four wheelers, motorcycles and rollerskates are welcome.

We'll pop indoor fireworks with bubble wrap and learn about the history of our country as we enjoy a giant balloon pass race, sing patriotic karaoke songs, and create American flags to hang. At 1pm, don't miss the Statue of Liberty as she makes a special appearance with a special gift for each of our visitors. Free with Museum admission.
