Macy's Zoo Brew returns Memorial Day weekend, and Zoo members can begin purchasing tickets April 1!  Enjoy this one-of-a-kind beer-tasting event with beers from around the world, live music and great food.

In the Teton Trek VIP Lounge, take advantage of early admission, enjoy specialty beers and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. We will also provide you with tram transportation to and from the VIP Lounge.

Sunset Symphony

 

Location: Tom Lee Park on Riverside Drive between Beale Street and Georgia Avenue in downtown Memphis.

 

Date & Time: Saturday, May 25 -- 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Admission:

$9.00 at the gate

Free admission for children 6 and under

 

Though there will be food vendors at the Sunset Symphony, you may bring your own coolers and picnic baskets, if you wish. Alcoholic beverages may also be brought into the park if they are inside of coolers or picnic baskets.
While lawn chairs, camping chairs, and umbrellas are permitted, Memphis in May reserves the right to ask visitors to remove anything that may be interfering with the view of the symphony.
As the Sunset Symphony takes place during the last weekend of May, it is typically quite warm and sunny. Be sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and anything else to help keep you cool and comfortable.
Food vendors accept cash only
No bicycles, laser pointers, pets, roller blades, roller skates, water guns, no thrown objects such as baseballs, footballs, frisbees, etc., or weapons will be allowed in the park.

  The Olympic-size pool(and babypool!) at Meeman-Shelby State Park opens annually on Memorial Day weekend for the summer. What a great way to kick off the summer!
   
   
• National Cemetery Ceremony

3:00 p.m.

The National Cemetery of Memphis will be holding a special ceremony in honor of veterans on Memorial Day. The National Cemetery is located near Jackson and National at 3568 Townes Avenue.
