Museum Discovery Pass Program The Burch Museum Discovery Pass offers Library card holders free admission at three Mid-South museums for 2 adults and minor children. This program supports the mission of the Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library to meet the cultural needs of our patrons by encouraging the community's participation in the arts. We learn to know ourselves and others better through art and the museum experience This program is made possible by the Friends of the Burch Library and through the support of the participating museums.

1. Where can I get a Pass? Passes are available for check-out at the Burch Library Circulation Desk with a valid Burch library card
2. Which museums are participating? The Dixon Gallery and Gardens The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art The Pink Palace Family of Museums
3. How do I check out a Pass? Contact the Circulation Desk at 457-2602 to ask which passes are available. You must present a valid Burch Library card to check-out a pass. Once in the library, select the museum of your choice at the Circulation Desk. You will be given a check-out receipt by the library staff that will serve as your Pass To ensure fair distribution of the Museum Discovery pass to our patrons, passes are made available on a first-come, first-served basis
4. How many Passes may I check out? You may check out one pass at a time
5. How long is the Pass valid? The Pass is valid for 3 days from the time of check-out
6. May I use the Pass more than once? No. The Museum will collect your Pass when you visit
7. May I renew my Museum Discovery Pass? Passes are not renewable
8. May I reserve a Museum Discovery Pass? No. Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis
9. Do I need to return the Pass to the library? No, you hand in your Pass in exchange for admission at the museum, so there is no need to return it to the library
10. Are there restrictions on the Museum Discovery Pass? Yes. Admission is limited to individuals and families, not for church, school or other organizational groups. The Pass covers admission to the museum, but not to specia events. The Pink Palace Pass is not valid for admission to IMAX or the Planetarium The Pink Palace is offering a 10% discount off membership dues, if you join the same day of your Museum Discovery Pass entry
11. How do I get more information? The library has brochures available which describe the participating museums and the Museum Discovery Pass program guidelines. Also, you may call the Library Circulation Desk at 457-2602 for more information.
